Atwood Church Makes Dedications
Monday, March 7, 2022 1:00 AM
Photo provided.
On Sunday, the congregation of Otterbein United Methodist Church, 306 E. Main St., Atwood, dedicated their new outdoor electronic church Message Center sign, the Chancel updates completed prior to Christmas, their new Christ Candle and Advent wreath stand and the two new sanctuary monitors on either side of the chancel. Trustee Steve Creighton presented the improvements to the congregation in continuing memory of Elmer Hanes (in whose memory the original outdoor sign was donated) and in honor of all dedicated saints who have contributed to the church. Trustee Chair Tom Groninger accepted the improvements as a sacred trust and pledged that they will be used reverently in loving memory and to honor dedicated saints who have contributed to the Church. Sunday services take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. each week with fellowship and snack time following in the fellowship hall.
