Miguel and Gloria Balestracci, Leominster, Mass., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stefanny Balestracci, to Evan Gerard, both of Chandler, Ariz.
He is the son of Gary and Mary Gerard, Syracuse.
The bride-to-be is a business developer at University of Phoenix and a mental health counselor at Sage Counseling, both in Phoenix, Ariz.
She graduated  from Leominster High School in 2003.
She received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in 2007 and a master’s degree from University of Phoenix in 2010.
The groom-elect is division director for Robert Half International, Phoenix.
He is a 2003 graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2007, and a master’s degree in business administration in 2012 from University of Phoenix.
The couple plan an Oct. 4 wedding.
