DAR Members Met Tuesday

Agnes Pruyn Chapman Chapter of the American Revolution met at noon Tuesday at the Palette Restaurant in the Wyndham Hotel with eight members and one perspective member. Regent Pauline Holderman called the meeting to order and led the opening rituals.

The president's general message was read by Linda Stroup and she told of a trip that  she made to Pennsylvania to the 9/11/2001 plane crash site.

The national defense report was given by Kathy Gawthrop on the freedom of speech.

The secretary's report was read by Janice Engelberth and approved.

The program was led by Rob Parker of the Chamber of Commence.  The subject was "Women in the workforce in Kosciusko County." Parker gave reasons for women working today and what the future holds for women in the workforce of Kosciusko County.

The next meeting will be at Wyndham's Hotel on Nov. 23 with Bryan Martin from the Farm Bureau as speaker.



ABC Bridge Club Played

The ABC Bridge Club met at The Red Apple Restaurant with Edith Vitoux as hostess.

Winners were Karyl Smith and Ann Thallemer.



Bridge Was Played At SPEC

NORTH WEBSTER – Bridge was at SPEC at the North Webster Community Center.

On Tuesday, Mary Thompson came in first and Mary Prescott came in second.

On Thursday, Wanda Wyrick came in first and Ronnie Pierog came in second.



Thursday Bridge Club Met

Winners for Thursday Bridge Club at Marie’s Family Restaurant were Nanette Newland and Sharon Holtz.



Last Monday Euchre Club Met

The Last Monday Euchre Club met at the Warsaw Senior Center Monday.

High winner was Mary Grubbs, most lones was Fran Nichols and low was Nancy Church.

The next meeting will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 29 at the Warsaw Senior Center.
