Is your dog a star?

The Wagon Wheel theatre is holding auditions for Sandy, the dog for its Christmas production of “Annie.”

Medium- to large-sized dogs of all breeds with a sandy color, or close, are encouraged to audition for “Annie.”

The Wagon Wheel Theatre will be holding auditions for the role of Sandy, the dog, at 11 a.m. Oct. 26 at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, 2515 E. Center St., Warsaw.

Dogs attending the audition must have proof of up-to-date vaccinations. Dogs must be comfortable around large crowds, have good temperament with strangers/kids, and able to sit, stay and come on command. Preferably, they can be off leash onstage and handled by other actors. Handler being present at the times of rehearsal and performances is preferred but not necessary.

Dog must be available for all performances and rehearsals. Dates and times will be provided at the time of the auditions and are also online at www.wagonwheelcenter.org/auditions.

The Wagon Wheel is willing to occasionally transport the dog to and from the theatre if necessary. You may just drop-off and pick-up your pooch. Pay is in love and treats, and owners will get comp tickets to the show.
