CROMWELL - Police were called to a party Saturday night on Robin Hood Road, Cromwell, and arrested six people for illegal consumption. Three other juveniles were released to their families with charges pending.

Police from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Syracuse Police Department and Indiana State Police, were called to the home on a report of juveniles drinking.

The officers reported several of the suspects ran from the home when they realized the police had entered. The police also reported several suspects were sitting around a kitchen table with alcoholic beverages on it and drinking.

Police then gave all the suspects a portable breath test. One subject who tested negative for alcohol was released without charge. The others were taken into custody.

The three juveniles released to their parents were: Jennifer L. Harwood, 17, of 36 EMS D-9 Lane, Syracuse; Ronald E. Chapin II, 17, Havana, Ill.; and Joel Wyatt, 16, Fort Wayne.

The six suspects charged as adults were: Anthony Michael Hoover, 18, of 414 E. Medusa, Syracuse; Ryan Joseph Hilgenberg, 18, of 4142 E. Forrest Glen Ave., Leesburg; Christian Frederic Miller, 20, Bath; Dustin Cordell Boggs, 18, of 11794 Robin Hood Road, Cromwell; Zachary Ray Larson, 19, Havana; and Shaun Michael Belin, 19, of 506 S. Manor, Syracuse. The six are all charged with possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Boggs is still in custody at Kosciusko County Jail on $175 bond. The other five suspects are free on bond.
