The Warsaw Community Development Corporation hosts a downtown development tour from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9.

The tour will go through six historic buildings in the Downtown Historic District of Warsaw where visitors can see first-hand the craftsmanship of artisan builders of the stately buildings while hearing fascinating tales about their history from local historians.

Whether you admire historic architecture or are looking for a building for a downtown business or development, this is a rare opportunity to tour some of the most beautiful historic architecture in downtown Warsaw.

Registrants will also enjoy a tour of a newly-constructed townhouse in the Buffalo Street Project Development and will be able to learn more about the project from developer David Matthews.

Advance registration is required, and cost is $10 per person. Check in is at 2:30 p.m. at The VIC at One Ten, 110 N. Buffalo St.

Todd Zieger with Indiana Landmarks will welcome everyone at 3 p.m., and the tour begins with Kosciusko County historians at 3:15 p.m. A reception and conversation with Matthews starts at 5:30 p.m. at The VIC.
