Big Brothers Big Sisters is ready to rock 'n' bowl in Warsaw.

More than 30 teams are set to participate in Bowl For Kids' Sake fund-raiser, scheduled for today through Friday at Warsaw Bowl, 1702 E. Market St. Each session begins at 6:30 p.m. The goal is to raise $16,000 to support Bigs, Littles and 20 Kosciusko County children still waiting for a Big of their own.

Several local organizations are getting into the event through community challenges.

Lake City Bank and National City Bank are competing to see who can manage the most funds for Kids' Sake. With six teams apiece, the victory is up for grabs and a trophy awaits the winners.

Meanwhile, The Warsaw Rotary Club has issued an open challenge to all area service clubs. The club with the highest bowling score and money raised will have their victory immortalized on a new Bowl For Kids' Sake trophy.

Every Arby's and National City Bank location in Kosciusko County is selling and displaying promotional Bowl For Kids' Sake paper bowling pins throughout July. The pins sell for $1 each with all proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters. Ritter's Frozen Custard also is collecting money through its charity of the month program.

Registration for Bowl For Kids' Sake is now closed.
