NAPPANEE – On Friday afternoon, a three-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of CRs 1350N and 950W near Nappanee.

According to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s?Office, the initial results of the crash investigation indicate that a 2018 Honda motorcycle, driven by James Gluckin, 75, Elkhart, pulled into the path of a 2005 Honda Civic, driven by Sky Allen, 23, Bremen.

Prior to the collision, Gluckin was traveling south on CR 950W, approaching CR 1350N, and Allen was traveling west on CR 1350N, approaching CR 950W.

The motorcycle also struck an eastbound horse and buggy, operated by Anthony Chupp, 45, Nappanee. The collision caused minor injuries to the horse and damaged the buggy.

Gluckin was taken by Parkview Samaritan Air Ambulance to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, for a possible broken leg.

There were no other injuries reported.
