Editor, Times-Union:

What a strange and unusual year this has been! To say it made our Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary fruit and nut sale more difficult would be an understatement. Our dedicated ladies still managed to sell, sort, pack and deliver several tons of nuts, fruit and candy. With the aid of masks, hand sanitizer, social distancing and the help of spouses and friends of the Army, they got the job done! Thank you for going the extra mile to enable us to keep providing for those in need in our community!

Thank you, once again, to Creighton Brothers for picking up the product and transporting it to Warsaw and the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds for unloading them for us. Thank you to Kroger and Martin’s for lending us grocery carts to make our sorting and packing easier.

A big thank you to the Times-Union, The Paper, WRSW 107.3 and 1480, News Now Warsaw 99.7, Willie 103.5, Ink Free News, 1st Federal Bank, 1st Source Bank and Rabb Water for their help with advertising.

Sincere thanks to Ann Pinnick and Kim Hart, our nut committee chairman, for all you do before, during and after the sale. You are unbelievable!

A special thank you to Tina Phipps at T’s Styling Studio for allowing us to sell our extra nuts at her location. We appreciate having her on our team! Stop by and pick up that last minute gift or stocking stuffer.

The biggest thank you goes to all the people who continue to purchase from us year after year. You are the ones who help us help others in need in our community! On behalf of those people, we say thank you!
