Editor, Times-Union:

On behalf of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated, donated, volunteered or served to help make our 1st annual Comfort Zone 5K a huge success.

First, I would like to thank our sponsors: Grossnickle Eye Center, Alderfer Bergen, Tom Farms, Miller Cattle Company, Synergy Partnerships, Titus Funeral Home, Redpath-Fruth Funeral, Stafford Solid Waste, Kendall Electric, Kosciusko Runners Association and The Small group of The Slaymaker family for their generous donations.

We also want to thank Kroger, Rabb Water, Meijer, Dairy Queen, Buffalo Street Emporium, North Pointe Cinema, Maple Avenue Florist, Anderson Florist and Greenhouse, Tic Toc Trophy, Roberts Signs, JR and Jackie Watkins, Renekers and Harvest Community Church for their door prizes or food donations to help complete the day.

A huge thank you goes out to all volunteers and participants for their time and effort. It takes a village to pull together this big of a project. Your time and donations were so much appreciated.

I want to give a very special thank you to the families in our community whom we have been privileged to serve throughout the years. We hope and pray every day that we walk worthy of your trust and care that you place with us for your loved ones. To your loved ones, we dedicate this race.

Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Hope to see you next year!

Lovingly,

Shelley Holderman
