Tippecanoe Valley Approves Teachers Contract

AKRON — The Tippecanoe Valley School Board has approved the annual contract with the Tippecanoe Valley Classroom Teachers' Association.
The board performed that action at a special meeting on Monday in the Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. Administration Office.
The agreement calls for teachers with bachelor’s degrees to have raises in a range of $400 to $1,200. Those with master’s degrees will have raises between $800 to $2,400.
The overall salary range goes from $44,175 to $80,650. Insurance costs for teachers will rise by 1%.
