Kiwanis Give For Hurricane Relief

At their meeting Monday, the Lakeland Kiwanis Club of North Webster presented a $500 check for relief efforts in Ashe County, N.C., to Ed and Judy Clayton. The area suffered catastrophic devastation last month from Hurricane Helene. Clayton Garden Center spearheaded a "Christmas Kids Drive" to collect toys, blankets, school supplies and books for families that lost everything.
