By Staff Report-

Junior Achievement serving North Manchester is seeking Runners and Sponsors for its annual “JA 5k and Fun Run” fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Warvel Park in North Manchester.

Gather up your friends and family and join us for a beautiful race in the beautiful town of North Manchester all while supporting a great cause. We don't care if you walk, skip, dance, jog, sprint or run through this awesome course. It is bound to be a great time no matter how you do it.

Road Course: Scenic and no retracing routes. Start line is just south of 9th and Market Streets adjacent to Warvel Park. Heading south, the course is essentially flat until Main Street, after which there is a moderate descent across the Eel River Bridge. Runners will re-cross the Eel River through a historic Red Covered Bridge and encounter a slight incline until crossing Main Street again, after which the remainder of the course is flat to slightly uphill. Live entertainment along the course, which is set in the midst of the Town of North Manchester.

100% of entry fees support Junior Achievement (JA) Programs in the Manchester Community Schools. Junior Achievement provides financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship to students within the Manchester School district. We are a nonprofit organization that relies on community support, both financially and in person, to ensure we reach as many kids in the community as possible.

For more information on how to get active and get involved in supporting the financial education of local youth or to request a registration form, contact Beth Miller at (574) 551-4698 or [email protected]  Registration forms are due by July 4th 2022, to Junior Achievement serving North Manchester, PO Box 212, North Manchester, IN 46962.
