Warsaw, Wawasee Compete At NorthWood Golf Invitational

Warsaw fielded three teams in the tournament, with the A-team, Warsaw Black, coming in fourth place after shooting 366 as a team. The Wawasee athletes shot a combined 447 on the day, which put them in 12th. Penn would take first place in the 18-team tournament with a team score of 326.
The Tigers had some individuals finish the day on the podium, as Abbey Peterson’s 80 on the day earned her fourth place honors. Olivia Robinson-Gay would finish in sixth place after shooting an 82. Leading the way for the Warriors were Riley Firestone, who nearly missed out on a podium spot with an 87, and Francie McDonald, who shot a 112.
Warsaw will be a part of the field at the Twin Lakes Invitational Saturday, while Wawasee travels to Manchester to take on the Lady Squires Monday.
