COLUMBIA CITY - Grace’s women’s golf team claimed its second tournament title of the spring at the Eagle Glen Invitational.

The Lady Lancers defeated four other teams at Eagle Glen Golf Club with six players finishing in the top 10.

Grace has now won four tournaments this year.

Summer Stillson, Grace May and Lucy Young all tied for first place atop the leaderboard by carding an 81. Stillson won the playoff to earn her second medalist honors of the spring.

Rebecca Hawes finished in fifth place with an 84, and Carolyn Pacocha was seventh with a round of 85.

Additionally, Sydney Cesare earned a 10th-place showing by shooting 88, and Abby Slabaugh fired an 89. Abigail Fishel (91) and Brittney Klotz (100) also competed for the Lady Lancers.

“I could not be more proud of our team today,” said Grace head coach Denny Duncan. “The ladies played so well in really difficult conditions. Our mental toughness is setting us apart from other teams!”

The Lady Lancers will compete next at the Sagamore Shootout on April 11.
