A Warsaw woman was arrested Saturday after she spat on an officer.
According to an affidavit filed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department officer responded to a drug overdose Saturday and met with a woman who advised her daughter, Nicole Dawn Bolesky, 18, Warsaw, was in the living room vomiting into a waste basket. The officer entered the living room and observed Bolesky sitting in a chair, conscious but unresponsive to questions.
Bolesky’s boyfriend and another friend were also in the room and told the officer Bolesky had consumed whiskey, Xanax, cocaine, heroin and Adavan pills. Bolesky was then transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment.
According to the affidavit, the officer arrived at the hospital to assist after Bolesky became extremely agitated and physically violent and required soft restraints from the nursing staff. While placing handcuffs on her, Bolesky spat on the officer’s right arm.
Bolesky was arrested and preliminarily charged with battery by bodily waste and held on a $2,000 bond.
