WINONA LAKE – National Day Of Prayer will be celebrated locally at Rodeheaver Auditorium in Winona Lake.
The event is at noon May  1.
Dr. Erik Ohman, Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church pastor, will be the keynote speaker.
Ohman has been instrumental in planting mission-oriented schools, churches, homes and orphanages. When living in Colorado, he established the largest National Day of Prayer breakfast in the state.
Representatives from the community will lead prayer. Ellen Swaim, Winona Lake town clerk, will pray for government; Brian Koorey, World Missions pastor at Warsaw Community Church, will pray for ministry; Dr. Bill Katip, Grace College president, will pray for education; George Fish, father of pilot Maj. Bret Fish, will pray for military; Dr. Terry White, Grace College journalism professor, will pray for the media; and Dr. Joe Graham, Grace College assistant professor of behavioral science, will pray for family.
