Today is G&G Hauling Inc. sponsorship and media day at the Kosciusko County Fair.
The big cat encounter continues in the commercial tent area at 2 and 8:30 p.m.
In the show arena at 7 p.m. is the 4-H Sale of Champions, while the steam engine operation and demonstration will take place in the antique area at 7 p.m. The fair program also lists the tractor games in the antique area starting at 7 p.m.
In the grandstand at 7:30 p.m. is the second annual Shaggy Memorial Demolition Derby, with paid admission. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12 years old and free for children 5 and under. A pit pass is $15. Gates open at 4 p.m.
Registration for karaoke begins at 8 p.m. in the event center, with Karaoke with Chris Cage starting at 8:30 p.m. Start time depends on when the derby finishes.
Saturday is Polk Equipment Day.
The fourth annual pie baking contest starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at the office. All pies need to be in the office by noon. The contest judging will be at 3 p.m. in the event center.
In the grandstand with paid admission, the truck and tractor pulls start at 10 a.m.
Registration for the corn hole tournament starts at 10 a.m. in the event center. The tournament begins at 11 a.m.
The log cabin opens at noon in the antique area. The 4-H exhibits open at noon in the Shrine Building, while the open class exhibits open in the Home & Family Arts building.
The dog obedience show is in the show arena at noon.
Gates open at 1 p.m., as does the commercial tent and carnival rides. The Last Blast POP wristband will be honored until 6 p.m. Regular ticket prices start after 6 p.m.
The big cat encounter will be at 2, 6 and 8:30 p.m. in the commercial tent area.
At 6 p.m. the 4-H exhibits close in the Shrine Building. The commercial tent and open class exhibits close at 9 p.m.
The Steam Engine Spark Show is at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the grandstand.
