NORTH WEBSTER – McKenah D’Arcy was crowned Queen of Lakes during the Mermaid Festival in North Webster Saturday.
D’Arcy, 18, represented Dewart Lake in the Camelot-themed pageant. She is a recent Concord High School graduate and the daughter of Kevin and Sharlyn D’Arcy, Goshen.
Alexis Linnemeir, 21, daughter of Becky Linnemeier, Milford, was first runner-up; Kaytlyn Eberly, 21, daughter of Scott and Darla Eberly, North Manchester, was second runner-up; and Jenna Coy, 19, daughter of Allen and Sherri Coy, Syracuse. was third runner-up.
Service Award winners were Aarika Olenik, first-place float winner; Kaytlyn Eberly, Miss Congeniality and float winner; Audie Parsons, Community Service Award; Jasmine Ensz, Community Service Award; Abigail Schmucker, People’s Choice Theme Wear; and Tessa Riley, float winner.
The Cutie Queen was Hope Scott and King was Hayden Castro. Ella Stewart, Ayla McClure and Arya Meyan were queen runners-up; king runners-up were Haydenn Mitchell, Lucas Keim and Cameron Senter.
