BRISTOL – Elkhart Civic Theater’s popular improv comedy festival and competition, Comedy Criminals, will return April 1 to the Bristol Opera House.
Improv groups are encouraged to sign up to compete for title and glory, in addition to some free stage time at Elkhart Civic Theater. This year the festival will be a one-night event starting at 7:30 p.m.
The evening’s emcee will be Jessica Noelle Hardy, a past Comedy Criminals judge, creator of the Chicago Comedy Film Festival, and a graduate of Second City Conservatory. Additional judges will be announced.
The winner of the competition will be decided by judges and the audience.  Winning troupe will receive free stage time at the Bristol Opera House to perform and split proceeds with Elkhart Civic Theatre. Additional prizes will be announced.
