In May of 2013 the state of Indiana was granted $200 million bi-annually freeing up 140 million out of the gas tax for all local governments and roads. Kosciusko County Council members passed a wheel tax on us in order to fix our roads stating "we have no other choice." Even stated we wouldn't even begin seeing improvements until the end of 2015 beginning of 2016. Its funny how as soon as they pass the tax INDOT starts throwing money at us lefT and right. The money was there, but with stipulations.
