Editor, Times-Union:
Concerning Hospice: I was saddened to learn of Hospice removal from our community.
On two different occasions Hospice has been there for us, relieving our burdens at those difficult times.
Thanks to all of you involved with Hospice. Who made this decision to dismiss Hospice? Does this mean we will do without or must hire someone to replace the care Hospice provided and is there such a service available?
Was this done because people no longer needed or wanted this service? Why was Hospice taken out of the United Way program? How does this affect the locally run pharmacy?
Just wondering.
