NORTH MANCHESTER – Ronald L. Wrightsman, 81, Warsaw, formerly of Sidney, died at 9:10 a.m. July 11, 2014, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw.
He was born April 24,1933, in Flint, Mich., to Raymond and Nellie Flora Wrightsman. On April 24, 1954, he married Louella Blocher, who survives.
He was employed at several foundries in the area. He was a resident of Warsaw Meadows Care Center for the past four years. The staff commented on his kindness and politeness.
Also surviving are a son, Dean (and spouse Joann) Wrightsman, Wonewoc, Wis.; a daughter, Lucinda (and spouse Michael) Curtin, Rocky Mount, Va.; a brother, Paul Wrightsman, North Manchester; two sisters, Eileen (and spouse Herman) Beachler, and Carol Grindle, both of North Manchester; four grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Packerton Road and CR 1200S, Silver Lake, with Home Brethren officiating. Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, State Road 13, North Manchester.
