Neva Patterson, 90, passed away at 8:31 p.m. June 29, 2014, at Grace Village, Warsaw.
She was born June 10, 1924, in North Grove, to Waldo and Verle Morris David. On Oct. 17, 1953, in Fort Wayne, she married William Eugene Patterson, who died June 4, 2012.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She graduated from Pierceton High School in 1942.
She was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom who gently loved and cared for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw; in years past she belonged to the Crossroads Homemakers Club.
Surviving are two sons, David Patterson, Warsaw, and Kenneth (and spouse Cynthia) Patterson, Syracuse; a daughter, Karen (and spouse Joe) Patrick, Syracuse, eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Patterson, who died Oct. 3, 1979; a grandson, Johnathon Patterson, who died Feb. 22, 2008; a sister, Wanita Wertenberger; and a brother, Doran David.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jack Worth, Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw, officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
