Jack T. Burchett, 17, Warsaw, passed away at 1:44 a.m. Sunday, April 16, 2017. He was born Jan. 28, 2000, in St. Joseph County, to Teddy D. Burchett and Tammy R. Gordin. He attended Warsaw Community Schools and was employed by McDonald’s restaurant, Warsaw. He was a former football player and wrestler. He was an avid gaming computer player and fisherman. Most of all, he loved to make people laugh. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Teddy D. and April Ware Burchett, Warsaw; mother and stepfather, Tammy R. and Randy Burchett-Holland, Edgewood; brothers and sister: Teddy D. Burchett Jr., Warsaw; Emily Burchett, Edgewood; John T. Burchett, Edgewood; and Jacob Burchett, Warsaw. In addition, stepbrother Vaughn Ware and a half brother, Marcus Burchett, both of Warsaw, survive. Other survivors include paternal grandparents Jack and Annie Burchett, Warsaw; maternal grandfather Steve Gordin, Xenia, Ohio; and maternal great-grandparents Jim and Ruthann Stork, Milford. Visitation hours are scheduled from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 24, at the funeral chapel, with Pastor Matthias Snodderly officiating.
