BOURBON — A day after suffering a five-inning loss to South Bend Riley, the Triton baseball team bounced back with a five-inning victory of its own Thursday.
Hosting Oregon-Davis, the Triton Trojans (1-1) posted a 11-0 victory, as pitchers Jayden Hargrave and Gunner Golden combined to give up just two hits.
Hargrave was the winning pitcher, going four innings, allowing one hit and striking out seven Bobcats.
Hargrave also did it at the plate, going 2 for 3, while Cole Creighbaum and Landon Kaufman each had two RBIs, with both hitting a double.
The Trojans are back in action Monday at Tippecanoe Valley.
