KOKOMO — Out of the 20 teams at Saturday’s Western Invitational in Kokomo, the Warsaw girls golf team finished 13th.
Hamilton Southeastern finished first with a 304, followed by Kent Roosevelt, Ohio (305) and Westfield (318) to round out the top three, while Warsaw finished its round with a 371.
Westfield’s Cailyn Henderson led the pack on the par-72 Chippendale Golf Course with a four-under 68.
Alexis Manwaring of Warsaw finished 10th at the tournament, posting a 77.
Also from Warsaw, Ash Jain shot a 95, Madi Graham had a 98, Kristen Watson carded a 101 and Page Desenberg recorded a 120.
Warsaw hosts Huntington North at Stonehenge Golf Club Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday in Syracuse
The Wawasee girls golf team finished second at its own invitational Saturday at South Shore Golf Club in Syracuse. The NorthWood Lady Panthers finished first with a 353 on the par-72 course, followed by Wawasee (370) and Mishawaka (411), rounding out the top three. Nine complete teams competed at the tournament, with the Whitko Lady Wildcats placing eighth with a 462. Mikala Mawhorter led Wawasee with an 85, with Elizabeth Jackson and Kylee Rostochak each posted a 92. The Lady Warriors travel to Manchester today, then hosts West Noble and Mishawaka Marian at Maxwelton Golf Club Tuesday.

Saturday in North Manchester
The Southwood girls golf team dominated Saturday's Wabash County Tournament at Sycamore Golf Club in North Manchester, winning by 73 strokes. Southwood took first with a 359 on the par-72 course, followed by Manchester's 432, Wabash's 452 and Northfield's 497. Southwood had four of the top five golfers at the meet, led by Dayna Dale's 85, while Manchester's claire Barnett broke into the top five with a 94 on her home course. The Lady Squires host Wawasee today back at Sycamore Golf Club.
