The Son Shine Preschool in North Webster recently hit the milestone of being in business for 10 years.  Established in 2004, the school began where the North Webster Post Office is now located and has since moved to its present home on Ind. 13. Licensed elementary teachers Phyllis Roberts and Wende Roberts make up the mother-daughter teaching team who are co-owners of the Christian school. A series of open houses will be held in celebration: Friday and June 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday and June 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend to discover more about the Son Shine Preschool program offerings, including former students and their families who would like to reminiscce with the Roberts. Son Shine offers a variety of year-round programs including preschool, pre-kindergarten and Extra Boost. Individualized tutoring programs are also available for students in preschool through 12th grade.  A Community Children's Choir, preschool through 5th grade, is currently being organized to begin later this summer.  A half-day kindergarten program will be offered for the 2014-2015 school year. For information contact the preschool at 574-834-7335. Pictured (L to R) are Wende Roberts and Phyllis Roberts.
