Kosciusko Community Hospital is a sponsor of the American Red Cross of Kosciusko County’s Disaster Partner Program, which helps support local disaster responses and provides assistance to families with shelter, food and clothing, prescription replacement and recovery mental health services. Pictured (L to R) are Siobhan Davenport, KCH chief safety officer; Kim Komdeur, major gift officer, American Red Cross; Dr. Carl Metcalf, MD; and Lynn Eberle, director of the KCH emergency department. Each year, local businesses partner with the local Red Cross chapter to support responses to Kosciusko families who have experienced a disaster. In the past year, local Red Cross volunteers from the Kosciusko Red Cross Disaster Action Team responded to dozens of fires and a tornado, as well as storm damage, where immediate assistance was provided to the families affected.  For more information about the American Red Cross Disaster Partner program, call 574-377-1116.
