KENDALLVILLE – The 38th Annual Fall Tri-State Bluegrass Festival will be held on Memorial weekend, May 22 through 25 at the Noble County 4-H Fairgrounds in Kendallville.
Sponsored by the Northern Indiana Bluegrass Association, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, this weekend is family entertainment. In addition to stage shows, there is music around camp fires, day and night, and pickers are welcome and encouraged to join in. Attendees can bring campers and stay the week.
There will be three large covered areas at the stage and concession stands with a variety of food, novelties, compact discs and more.  Limited bleacher seating is available, so lawn chairs (low-back only) are suggested. Limited parking for persons with disabilities is reserved near the stage area. Taxi golf carts are available for shuttling between the parking lot and stage area during music hours.
Twelve national, regional and local bands from seven states – from Wisconsin to West Virginia – will perform more than 30 hours of acoustic music on an outdoor stage from May 22 to 25. The show is rain or shine.
Other attractions include a 4-H fundraising dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on May 22 and a Kids’ Korner with various projects (band scrabble with $250 prize, instrument workshops and slow jam session) on May 24.
