Singles Meeting Friends
A small group of the Singles Meeting Friends gathered for dinner at Hacienda Wednesday evening, so no meeting was held. However, there was a lot of great conversation and card playing. Everyone enjoyed the evening.
It was decided that since First Friday Game Night falls on the Fourth of July, they would delay First Friday a week, and celebrate on the second Friday, July 11, at 7 p.m. So plan on joining them. Just remember that all food and drinks must be purchased at Martin’s Supermarket, and join them in the upstairs dining room.
This weekend is the Mermaid Festival in North Webster.
Don’t forget our own little Fourth of July celebration at Charlene’s July 5 at 7 p.m. in Rochester. She will be making sloppy joes, so bring a covered dish, your beverage and chair to join in on the fun. Edie is offering up a challenge for everyone to bring a dish they have never made before. That should help make for a fun evening.
There are lots of fairs, festivals and concerts in the park at Warsaw’s Center Park on Friday evenings, as well as all of the concerts at the fairs and festivals. Find a new friend among the Singles Meeting Friends to enjoy these festivities.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backwards. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus and keep aiming. You can also aim that arrow towards the Warsaw Hacienda on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. to join in on the fun of the Singles Meeting Friends. Everyone is welcome, even if the door is shut to the Fiesta Room. They enjoy meeting new people. There are no dues of any kind.
