The Class of 2020 Academic All-Northern Lakes Conference team was announced this week. Winners were:
NAIA Bound! Lancers Secure Spot At Nationals
For the 10th time in program history, Grace College’s men’s basketball team is headed to the NAIA National Champion-ships.
The Lancers earned an at-large invitation to the tournament, held in Sioux Falls, S.D. The 32-team field is broken into four 8-team brackets.
Grace landed the No. 4 seed in its bracket and will play No. 5 seed West Virginia Tech. The game will take place on March 12, at 1:45 p.m. (Central time) at the Sanford Pentagon.
Lancer Tracksters Open Indoors At Purdue-Fort Wayne
Grace College’s 2019-20 track and field season officially got underway on Saturday with the Mastodon Invitational at Purdue-Fort Wayne.
The Lancers posted several impressive finishes, including one NAIA national qualifier, three new school records and several personal bests.
Freshman Lyne Camara had a stellar day, setting school records in the 60-meter dash (7.84 seconds) and the 200 (26.02). Both results just missed NAIA qualifying standards. Camara also blitzed a 58.5 leg in the 4x400 relay.
