  • Due to the upcoming ISTEP test, Warsaw Community High School will be modifying its schedule to meet the needs of students during the testing window.

    ISTEP testing begins the week of Feb. 26 and goes until March 9, according to a news release from Warsaw Community Schools.

    Students will test with their classroom teachers. This means testing in math, English and biology will occur during the related class period.
  • Artists of any age and medium have a chance to showcase their talent through Purdue Extension Kosciusko County’s new Art of Agriculture contest.
  • The Warsaw Community Schools sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade bands will give their winter concert at 7 p.m. Monday, while the Warsaw Community High School winter dance concert will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
  • Retirees from Whitko Community Schools meet every other month to share a meal and reconnect.
  • Church of the Good Shepherd, Winona Lake, recently presented a $400 check to the Boomerang Backpacks program at Warsaw Community High School.
  • A record-setting 900 students from 12 Kosciusko County schools visited Pike Lake during the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams’ annual Lake Adventure Days.
  • The Woodies Supermarket Education Scholarship Trust has announced the 2017 scholarship winners.
  • The second session of summer school will begin Monday at Warsaw Community High School.
